[2010] Spouse: Derald Dafforn, Lives in Mesa, Arizona, 2 sons, 4 granddaughters
After graduating, I graduated from International Business College with a degree in Accounting and Business Management.
From 1963 to 1969, I was employed by Central Soya in Fort Wayne.
I married Derald Dafforn on September 7, 1963. We bought and lived in a 4-unit apartment house on Columbia Avenue.
Shortly after 1965 Palm Sunday tornado, we purchased 40 acres on Lake Pleasant in Steuben County and started developing Manapogo Park Campground in which we owned ro 23 years. After selling Manapogo Park, we moved to Mesa, Arizona.
We have two sons...Lance (40) is a Captain on the Fort Wayne Fire Department. Lance and Amy have four girls. He also owns a concrete business. Jason (36), single, lives in Oceanside, California, and works for the City of Oceanside as their Project Manager for the Water Utilities Department.
In our "retirement" years, we have managed four different RV resorts. One resort was in South Lake Tahoe, California, and three in Mesa, Arizona...one of which we are still employed. When we were in the middle of retirement, we purchased a home in Henderson, Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas. I took a job as a blackjack and craps dealer for Boyd Gaming. At that time, my name was changed to "Lea" (my middle name).
We have been blessed with a wonderful life and family.
