[2010] Spouse: Betty Greider, Lives in Buxton, North Carolina, 1 daughter, 1 son, 2 grandsons, 3 granddaughters
I worked for Merrill Lynch in Fort Wayne, New York City, Lansing, Michigan, Miami, Florida, and Richmond, Virginia, from 1960 to 1975. Met my beloved Betty In New York, and we were married in 1966. Our daughter Riley was born while we were in Lansing, Michigan, and our son Scott while we were in Miami, Florida.
I left Merrill, returned to Fort Wayne, became a CPA, and went into partnership with my father, and continued the firm after his death in 1983. In 1986, I became a registered investment advisor.
In 1990, Betty and I bought the Pine Haven Motel on Bluffton Road in Waynedale and moved the accounting firm into the large owner's house attached to the motel.
In 1997, we sold the motel, down-sized the accounting firm, and moved to Hatteras Island on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I continue to provide tax and investment services to friends and clients (not mutually exclusive) who don't mind me being so far away from wherever they might be.
I enjoy singing gospel music in church and at nursing homes. Betty and I enjoy traveling the country by motorhome.
