Gary W. Bunn



OBITUARY

GARY WAYNE "BUTCH" BUNN, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday Aug. 26, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Nov. 1, 1942, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Graham) Bunn. He graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1960 and married his high school sweetheart, Rebecca Ann Walden on Nov. 12, 1960; she survives. He owned Gary Bunn Trucking and was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church. As a devoted and invested husband, father and grandfather, he found most enjoyment watching his grandchildren excel at baseball, soccer and golf. He was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan. "His love of family, his humor and his appreciation for life will be greatly missed." Also surviving are four loving daughters, Beth (Kim) Reilly, Molly (Shane) Graft and Heidi (Todd) Kleinrichert, all of Fort Wayne; and Amy (Paul) Marinell of Cape Coral, Fla.; sister, Lorene Gump of North Webster; grandchildren, Brandon (Jenny) Reilley, Brett Reilley (fiancée, Season Groninger), Brock Reilley, Morgan, Taylor, Chase, and Quade Marinell, Joshua and Jacob McBride, Kole, Karsyn and McKenna Kleinrichert, and Olivia Graft; great-granddaughter, Kate Marie Reilley (due in October of 2011); mother-in-law, Helen Walden; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Sharon) Walden and Daniel (Marty) Walden; and former son-in-law, Trent McBride. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Dean, Paul, Ronald, and James Bunn; brother-in-law, Lloyd Gump; and father-in-law, Bernard Walden. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at Blackhawk Ministries, 7470 E. State Blvd. Family friend Pastor Joshua Rang officiating. Visitation is from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Entombment in Lindenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials to Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 W. Wayne St.
