Ural Edwards, former teacher at Elmhurst

Ural Edwards, 73, of Plainville, formerly of Fort Wayne, died at 10 a.m. Saturday en route to Daviess County Hospital, Washington.

A native of Daviess County, Miss Edwards lived in Fort Wayne for 31 years. She retired after 31 years as a teacher at Elmhurst High School, where she was head of the commerce department.

Surviving is a sister, Iobeth Ainscough, of Plainville.

Services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Poindexter Funeral Home, Washington, with calling there after 2 p.m. Monday. Burial in Plainville Cemetery.
