OBITUARY

ADOLPH A. "AL" SCHILLING, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013. He was born Aug. 29, 1942 in Fort Wayne the son of the late Adolph J. F. and Thelma Schilling. He was an Air Force Veteran, serving two tours as Crew Chief on a KC-135 aircraft in South Asia. He was a Store Manager for Maloley Bros. Grocers with 18 years of service. He was employed by Frito-Lay for 15 years, and Nabisco for seven years. After "retiring" he assumed duties at Kruse Farms near Arcola. He was A NASCAR fan, attending various races. Surviving are his children, Joseph, Toni, and Jodi. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith (Van Allen). Memorial service is 7 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 at C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St. with calling two hours prior. Memorials to the Ashley Storm Scholarship Fund. [Published in Fort Wayne Newspapers on July 24, 2013]
