Juanita M. Decker, 71, of 4218 Tacoma Ave. died at 3 p.m. Saturday in Parkview Memorial Hospital. A native of Brown County, Mrs. Decker was a retired English teacher from Elmhurst High School, where she had been employed 20 years.

She was formerly the president of the Retired Teachers' Association.

Surviving are her husband, Harry R.; two daughters, Diane Sakmyster and Debra Sue Decker, both of Cincinnati; and one son, Daniel S. Decker of Vermillion, S.D.

There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday in First Wayne Street United Methodist Church. Preferred memorials are gifts to the Children's United Methodist Home in Lebanon, Ind. Chalfant-Perry-Klaehn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
