Glenn Derald Miller, 76, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a World War II Marine veteran and retired in 1983 from Elmhurst High School after 35 years as a teacher with Fort Wayne Community School. Surviving are his wife, Wilma C.; a son, Gregory James of Elkhart; a daughter, Cheryl Lynne Hughes of Muncie; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services at 10 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, 4800 S. Calhoun St. Calling from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m Sunday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to the church or American Heart Association.
