OBITUARY

Keith W. Dafforn (January 1, 1942-August 25, 2013) Keith W. Dafforn, 71, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at 1:41 a.m. at IU Medical Center, Indianapolis.

Mr. Dafforn retired from Crestview Middle School after 43 years of teaching. He graduated from Elmhurst High School and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Ball State University.

He was born Jan. 18, 1942, in Fort Wayne to Lester and Grace Carsten Dafforn. He married Jan Gschwend on Nov. 2, 1974, at Clear Lake, in Fremont. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Ryan Dafforn, of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Rozie (Tom) Dapp, of Fort Wayne and Barb (Jim) Minich, of North Fort Myers, FL; and his stepmother, Mary Dafforn, of Bradenton, FL.

Calling is Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery, in Fort Wayne.
