COLUMBIA CITY -- William F. Geyer, 74, of Sebring, Fla., died Sunday at home. The Fort Wayne native was a veteran of World War II, taught in Marion County and Fort Wayne high schools for more than 26 years and also served as head basketball coach, dean of boys and assistant to the principal of Elmhurst High School.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth; three daughters, brothers, Charles F., Jr. and Robert M., both of Fort Wayne; and eight grandchildren.
Services are pending in Smith & Sons Funeral Home, with burial in South Park Cemetery.
