Velma Kay Whittenbarger Leeper



OBITUARY

FORT WAYNE - VELMA KAY LEEPER, 66, passed peacefully Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born Dec. 5, 1942, in Fort Wayne, she was a wonderful, devoted, loving wife and mother who enjoyed being around family and friends, especially watching her nine grandkids in their various activites. She was a member of Mt. Calvery Lutheran Church. She loved travel, family and her beloved dog, "Pebbles." She retired from Leeper's Lawn Service. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, John P. Leeper; daughters, Tina McKenzie and and Tracy Leeper; sons Chris (Cynthia) Leeper and Cory (Maria) Leeper; nine grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Johnson and Bonnie Witte; all of Fort Wayne...Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
